Produktbeskrivelse
The Emma bread basket features the same design concepts as the rest of the Emma series with clean lines, and a combination of steel and moulded beech wood. This design philosophy and choice of materials harks back elegantly to the Danish design of the 1950s. When the bread basket is on the table, the moulded beech-wood handle nestles closely around the metal basket as an integral and natural part of the design. It is easy to lift the handle when you need to pass the basket around the table or move it from the kitchen to the dining table. Inside the bread basket there is a customised 100% OEKO-TEX-cotton bag. This makes it easy to empty crumbs out of the basket and it is also machine washable if it gets to look tired. The Emma bread basket can also be used for fruit - though no more than 3 kg.
Stelton - Danish design heritage
A simple drawing of a teapot on a napkin during a family dinner. That was the starting point for Arne Jacobsen’s tableware design. After three years of intensive development, Cylinda-line was launched in 1967. At that time the cylindrical characteristic profile was avant-garde. Today the series is recognized as a symbol of classic, timeless style.
The next important collaboration with a designer was with Erik Magnussen who designed the iconic EM77 vacuum jug.
The true DNA of Stelton comes from these well-known products, which are highly functional while being affordable.
